Some out of state shelters and well meaning people give out our number in error. We cannot help with dogs outside our area.
We DO NOT take dogs from outside the Kentucky , Indiana area!
If after visiting and reading through that information you feel it necessary to contact us please use email whenever possible. Calls about placing your dog in rescue will NOT be returned . We are normally full and have a waiting list of dogs waiting for rescue.

Last year Inky received well over 500 emails and phone calls requesting assistance for Rottweilers in need.
WE NEED FOSTER HOMES! VOLUNTEERS WILLING TO MAKE PHONE CALLS AND PEOPLE TO COMPLETE IN HOME VISITS!
Our greatest need is for Foster homes....people willing to open their homes temporarily to already evaluated Rottweilers and provide them with the guidance and socialization that will allow them to find a loving home and STAY THERE!
Currently INKY Rottweiler rescue has
ONE (1) Full time Foster home (Fosters the dog until a permanent home is found) and Three (3) part-time foster homes. (Fosters the dog for 30 days)
If you've already had a rottweiler Placed into your home from INKY then you can participate IMMEDIATELY! Simply contact us.
If your NEW to our Rescue but have interest please complete a Volunteer Application!!!

You must check with your homeowners Insurance provider to verify that your policy will allow you to adopt a Rottie. We will verify this information! You cannot meet a dog until you have filled out an adoption application. Do NOT call wanting information about a dog.
If a dog is on our web site it is still available. Our volunteers do not have the time to speak to everyone who "might" be interested in a dog. If you are interested fill out the application and a volunteer will call you!
PLEASE NOTE ALL OF OUR DOGS ARE AVAILABLE TO INSIDE HOMES ONLY. WE DO NOT ADOPT DOGS TO HOMES THAT KEEP DOGS OUTSIDE. WE WILL NOT PROCESS APPLICATIONS IF YOUR HOME OWNERS INSURANCE IS ON OUR LIST
OF COMPANIES THAT DISCRIMINATE AGAINST ROTTWEILERS. PLEASE CALL YOUR CORPORATE OFFICE TO VERIFY YOUR INSURANCE COMPANY POLICIES BEFORE SUBMITTING AN APPLICATION.
