Grizzly
Gris has been with us for 6 plus years and he has been absolutely wonderful. He has arthritis, and like our last Rot, we have him on supplements and use an incline for our vehicle. We watch his weight (115-120lbs), though he still loves to chase squirrels. Dog walking friends of ours’ comment that when they see Gris, he always haGris has been with us for 6 plus years and he has been absolutely wonderful. Mel
Mel was a curtesy listing thru INKY and he was just what I had been looking for! Who could resist those melting choclate eyes and that big grin?? Mel had several problems when we adopted him. We had him treated for Heartworm, had him neutered and micro chipped. He has had a fracture in the past which causes him to limp a bit. but doesn't slow him down one iota! He loves other dogs, cats and children. I made a special harness for him and he takes the kids for wagon rides and you can tell he feels likes a VID ( Very Important Dog) when he is 'working'. He is a special guy and just having him sleeping by my bed every night is such a joy. Wanna go for a ride???? Yikes, get out of the way!!! He'd love to drive, but he's not allowed! No ice cream in a cup for this guy! He wants the cone and all!!! If any of you are skeptical about adopting a middle aged dog with "problems", better take a long look before you deny them....you may miss out on a 'Wonder Dog' like Mel!!!!
Anna
My little Anna, is the most loving and attention seeking dog I have ever owned. Everyone just loves my little beauty. My daughter works in one of the local hospitals in Occupational Therapy. Anna has started going in with her on Tuesdays as a pet therapy dog. She is so busy spreading her love around, she must take a nap at lunchtime. An older lady was in her recliner, and Anna came into her room. She called "Oh Annie, come here", Anna had to belly crawl under the walker, and through the bedside table to reach her, and was rewarded with all the attention she wanted. Patients want her to come in everyday, and doctors want to take her home with them. She's a hit! Very often, she can be found belly-up in the middle of the office or even the hallway, waiting for someone, anyone, to scratch her tummy. She's on a mission to convince people that rottweilers aren't so scary afterall.
Annie
Annie is pictured with her beloved dad, Dan. He is a trainer and she lives with many various dogs but she rules the roost!
Ebony
Ebony was adopted December of 2001. She has been an absolute angel since day 1. There's nothing like coming home to a smiling face and a nub wagging as fast as can be. I have received so many compliments about her, but it all goes back to the love, care and professionalism of those that saved her til I could find her. She is great with children, and it is even considered treat for my friends kids to get a visit from her. Thanks INKY for finding me the best K9 companion i've ever had !!
